On the 23rd of October, at Politecnico di Torino, we officially kicked off the PARJAI (Participatory Design Justice for Ethical AI Transitions) project, funded by the Italian Ministry of Education and Research, under the FIS2 program.

As principal investigator, I introduced the project, the underlying motivations and ambitions, as well as the case studies, which were then described in detail by the project's affiliated faculty and collaborators: Luigi De Russis (PARJAI4Health), Edoardo Patti (PARJAI4Energy), Giovanni Zenezini (PARJAI4Work), and Cristian Campagnaro (Polito per il Sociale).

The event underscored the complex relationship between 'Participatory AI & Social Justice' through a panel discussion featuring Laura Forlano, Alessandro Bozzon and Christina N. Harrington, and moderated by Cristina Zaga.
